Last night I started A Mad Desire to Dance by Elie Wiesel. Has anyone else read this?

Wiesel is one of my true heroes -- in literature and in life.

have not read this book but Wiesel is a special soul who has dedicated his life to being a "witness". I was fortunate to listen to one of his lectures in a rather small setting and what especially came across was a quiet, unassuming humility mixed with a ferocious commitment to battle against evil forces.

a special person who survived an awful time in history.

i look forward to hearing more about this book as you get through it.

"a special person who survived an awful time in history" and then went on to be victimized by Bernie Madoff. And yet he keeps on...

I finished A Mad Desire to Dance last night. The more I think about it, the more wonderful it seems to me. For anyone interested, my review is here: http://www.librarything.com/work/7011745/reviews/43289636.
