I would like to learn how to paste images taken from the web into my posts.

1.i have a photobucket account, but I can never get into it because for some reason it won't accept the password, even though the password is correct. is this something to do with cookies? how do I enable cookies on a mac? Do I need to give it cream as well or what?

2. I have been trying to use this piece of HTML string:

and copying the URL of the image I am trying to grab between the quotes. Sometimes it works (if the file name extension is .jpeg, or .jig) and sometimes it doesn't. Coz there is no right click on a mac (Cursed be Steve Jobs throughout all eternity for not including one on a mac mouse) I don't know how to find the location of the image I want to grab.

I would really appreciate any help with either of these two methods.

Thank you all in advance.

I don't know what photobucket is, so I can't help you there.

In your img src command line, take out the spaces and the beginning and end. There should be no space before "img" and no space after " at the end.

The way you have it set up it will link to the URL. You don't have to save the image to your computer unless you want a copy.

So without the spaces, linking to your URL I get:

What browser are you using? Safari? I'm using Safari 3.something myself right now, and there you allow (or not) cookies in the "safety" panel in "preferences" in the Safari menu (or you just press the Apple + comma keys to go to the preferences.)

To copy the url for an image you press ctrl, mouse-click on the image, and choose "copy address" from the drop-down that will appear.

Hope that helps! The technical terms might be somewhat different as I'm not on an English browser at the moment and my memory is not always correct.

Control-click will often work the same as a right click on the Other Side.
