With the first day of games in the books, it's not too late to share some predictions about how things will go.
Despite yesterday's action, I'm still expecting to see the Cubs vs. the Angels in the World Series.
Anyone else want to chime in?

As a Cub fan I am spending this morning breathing deeply and staying away from rooftops of tall buildings.
My prediction: Red Sox vs. Cubs - I will admit that I did not watch the Sox/Angels. I had to turn off the television after the Cubs/Dodgers debacle.

I was also thinking Red Sox vs. Cubs; but now I'm not so sure. I think the Cubs should win tonight, but Z is the key.

OK, as a NY Yankees and SF Giants fan I never, ever, ever thought I would be saying this but at this point . . .
Go Dodgers!
Go Dodgers!

Would it be possible for the commissioner to force these players to clean all the crud off their helmets?

So, how about those Phillies?

All in all a fine series, weather aside, although I would have liked to see one more game.
The Phillies looked very good. They deserve their championship. Congrats to their fans!
