Lion brand has several Aran sweaters on their website (all free) and Debbie Bliss and other designers have free ones on Ravelry if you're a member there. Also see Knitting Pattern Central for many, many choices.

Google is your friend. Here are a few that I found by searching for “free pattern aran sweater”.
Classic cabled Aran
Gansey style pullover
Gansey inspired zigzag lace
Simple pullover with cable and ribs
Cabled turtleneck
Honeycomb cardigan with pockets
This site has many free patterns; click on the “sweaters” link below the words “Ponchos & Capes”.
If you are not already on Ravelry, you may want to join (membership is free). They have hundreds of patterns tagged "cables". Many are free; others are available for download at reasonable prices. And you can see examples members have made in various yarns, colors, and sizes.

Oh, and because this is LT--you may find exactly what you want by going to your local library and checking out all the related books!
I recommend:
Arans & Celtics: The Best of Knitter's Magazine (for some reason the touchstone isn't loading; the LT page is here)
and
Fishermen's Sweaters: 20 Exclusive Knitwear Designs for All Generations
both of which are found in many library systems.
Also
Knitting the New Classics has several.
And if you have an all-purpose pattern for drop-shoulder, saddle-shoulder or modified drop-shoulder pattern you like, and a stitch dictionary or Aran/Guernsey/Cable book with a variety of patterns, you can swatch and design your own.
