Has anyone read Nights in Rodanthe by Nicholas Sparks ?? It's really good and coming out as a movie this fall!! Stars Richard Gere and Diane Lane. If you haven't read it...you should..before the movie comes out!

Yes, I will definitely read this one. I have it on my book shelf, I just haven't read it.

I saw the film a few weekends ago but haven't read the book -- my mom has, and said the film changed details around (of course, like always). Incredibly sad, though, like most Sparks novels! I'll probably still work my way through the book in the near future.

I read the book first and saw the movie after . The change in the movie really affected the part where there was the mother and daughter talk in the last part. A naughty girl trying to cheer her mom who is mourning for her dead boyfriend while the daugher is still hoping for her parents to go back together. The movie doesn't make sense. In the book, the talk between mother and daughter made sense because both already had experienced the same thing and the divorce took place years before this talk between mother and daughter occured.

The book is excellent, the movie is terrible.
