I am a sub librarian in Montgomery County. I have started a mystery book club at White Oak Library in Silver Spring, MD. It meets the third Tuesday of every month at 7 p.m. On May 20, 2008, we will meet to discuss Hollywood Station by Joseph Wambaugh. You can get a copy of the book at the library, which is located at 11701 New Hamphshire Ave, just north of the intersection of New Hampshire and Colesville Road (Route 29). Send me a message if you want more info. Would love to have some LT'ers come by for the discussion.

Good luck with your book club! I used to live in Silver Spring and volunteered at the White Oak library in high school (went to Springbrook). If I lived closer now, I would try to join ya!

I also went to Springbrook H.S. too. Yea Blue Devils!!!! I also went to White Oak Junior H.S. when it was still called a Junior H.S and not called a Middle School. That's dating myself of course since they haven't used the name Junior High School in years. I still prefer to think of it as a Junior H.S. I can't bring myself to call it a Middle School.
I also went to the White Oak Library as well as the Wheaton Regional Library too. I used to go to the Wheaton Library's Book Sales all the time. They used to have them every third Saturday of the month. I don't know if they still have them anymore.
