App: Ajax code instead of normal Home

Sometimes when I click on home, I do not get the normal layout, but instead just a wall of text code, which includes the word ajax quite often.
I took a screenshot, but don't know how to insert it here.

You need to upload the picture to your junk drawer (add picture on profile) or other web location.

Then the picture location (not the junkdrawer url) gets inserted in (img src="*******") with triangular brackets instead of round ones.

>1 indeedox: When you upload a screenshot, can you tell me what page/s you remember navigating from when going to your Home page and seeing the wall of text code? Also, what browser and OS (operating system) are you using (e.g. Google Chrome, version 90 and Windows 7, etc.)? Thanks!

I'm in the android app, navigating from Profile to Home.
I tried uploading the pic in the junk drawer, but uploading seems not possible in the app.

Are you in the Android "App" or on an Android using the web (BIG difference for us)?

My way to go to the 'Home' panel
- open app
- click collections
- click any collection
- click any book
- click on edit (right side, down)
- am now in the internal browser or so and can edit any field of my logged book
- then click on username
- am now on profile
- then click on 'home' in the top row

AHH. So you're actually using the web...you just happen to be using from within the app (which is an unfortunate and terrible way to do it, but I understand). So this is going to be a TOUGH one to debug since it's two steps removed from the actual web page but I'll give it a go.

Does the same thing happen on your device if you just use the web browser on the site?

The error or the wall of code does not come always, right now e.g. I could go to the Home panel without problems. (Through the app's internal browser)

The error hasnt happened to me in a normal browser, but then I always never go to librarything in an normal browser; 99% if the time I just use the app.

I do realise now I might be a bit strange in doing that 🙂
