>1 EGBERTINA: do we combine a dvd with dvd's labeled as blue ray?
I would say so. They're editions of the same work -- the work is the digital or analog original, not the particular format it's released in. Same as combining a print book with an ebook.

The only reason not to is if they significantly more content

>4 SandraArdnas: I'd say if the movie was different, like a director's cut, rather than just "more content." I consider my Criterion edition of Life of Brian with its wealth of special features the same work as a VHS tape of the same movie.

>5 amanda4242: More content, such as extensive documentary footage, can also be used criteria to separate. I merely wanted to point out the criteria is the same as with books. Different format doesn't matter, different content might. I assume short interviews with cast and such would be the equivalent of introductions, afterwords, etc., meaning not constituting a separate work.
