Alison Richard vs Richard Alison

The author of The Sloth Lemur's Song is the anthropologist Alison Richard. When I manually entered the book into my LT catalog, I entered the author by Last Name, First name: so as Richard, Alison. However, clicking on the author's name in my catalog leads me to this page.

I've split authors before, but not any with this particular issue. Is the system confused because the last name also is a common first name? Btw, the anthropologist Alison Richard also is known as Alison F. Richard, if that makes splitting easier.

Amazon has the author of the book listed as "Richard Alison" and that bad data was imported to LibraryThing from everyone who added the book using Amazon as a source, which was the majority of users who had that book and so the wrong name was "winning". I've heard that there's a way to contact Amazon to get them to correct their data so the bad data will stop being imported but I don't know how to do that.

Amazon is now listing the author as Alison F. Richard - should https://www.librarything.com/author/richardalisonf be combined with https://www.librarything.com/author/richardalison?
