Authors Missing from Author List in App

When I use the LibraryThing app (iPhone 8, iOS 16.1.2, LT app version 1.2.3 build 108), there are some authors missing from the list of authors even though I have books of theirs in my account.

Here is a screenshot of the two Katherine Addison books in my account.
Here is a screenshot of Katherine Addison missing from my list of authors. The name should be Scott Adams and Paul Adshead but is not.

Here is a screenshot of the four T. Kingfisher books in my account.
Here is a screenshot of T. Kingfisher missing from my list of authors. The name should be between Thomas King and Laura Kinsale but is not.

I've also checked under K authors for Katherine Addison and T authors for T. Kingfisher in case I had the name entered oddly, but they're not there either. There may be other authors missing from the big list as well, but these are the ones I've noticed so far.

Katherine Addison is a pen name of Sarah Monette
T. Kingfisher is a pen name of Ursula Vernon

So it seems like the problem is that only the canonical name is showing up in the app, not the name as you entered it.

It is an old complaint... it gets really aggravating when your library has multiple languages or when you use the author names as they appear on the book - to the point that I never use the Author list.

Both Sarah Monette and Ursula Vernon show up in the big list of author names, but when I click on the names to pull up their books, the app doesn't return any books.

So this seems to be the actual issue:
* If a book is entered under a non-canonical name, then the non-canonical name does not show up in the list of authors.
* If a book is entered under a non-canonical name, then the canonical name does show up in the list of authors.
* Using the canonical name from the list of authors pulls up 0 books because the books are catalogued using the non-canonical name.

The app does seem to know the books are there because it says 2 and 4 by Monette's and Vernon's names in the list of authors, but it can't pull them up because that's not how I entered them.

Neither of those authors has a canonical name entered. The name involved is the one that 'won' in the combination.
