unable to add patrons

This morning when I added a patron to my database, I got an error message saying that a "valid email address was required to continue". I don't collect email addresses , there's no active field for it on my entry form, so what's up? Has this happened to anyone else?

This must be related to a push that was made this morning. I've drawn up a bug report for the developers and will report back when it's fixed, my apologies for the inconvenience!
