Any thoughts as to why our man preferred it when it was darker and cooler? How do you think his upbringing has impacted on him?

There was mention of his ‘going to Hell’ or ‘Hell starting’ (or some such phrase) when he defied his mother. She must have punished him with heat in some way - a boiler room or such like?

I also thought his punishment as a child might have had something to do with heat and bright light.

>2 Sergeirocks: that is good thinking about the punishment being in a boiler room. The mother sounds like a right harridan! Sounds like she may have damaged him irreparably. The father also sounds interesting and is the skinning connected to be being black. Does he want to wear a white person’s skin?

>4 Andrew-theQM: If he wants to wear a dead persons skin, then he definitely needs psychiatric help, no matter what colour his skin. Yuk!
