Hunter left the lecture to get to the crime scene. Could this have been done by someone else whilst he finished the lecture or do you think itwas important for him to see the crime scene as it was?

I think it was important for Robert to see the fresh crime scene as Robert always sees something that others don’t see.

There are only him and Garcia in the unit. I think they both needed to see the scene for themselves. Working at one remove just wouldn’t work.

Yes, he would be at a significant disadvantage if he only had images and second hand reflections of the crime scene. Viewing it while it’s relatively undisturbed is of critical importance.

He picks up so much from the scene and therefore on reflection i feel it was important to disappoint those attendees and go straight away to the crime scene.

The crime detection doesn’t stop just because Hunter has an appointment somewhere else. You can see how it must make life difficult for detectives.
