I am looking at using this for a very small library. The previous librarian was printing her own barcodes and I see their is an option for assigning patron barcodes or using your own. Looking for information on how to do that and print? I have a honeywell scanner that I know will scan book barcodes and read barcodes we have printed from our Dymo labelwriter so trying to find out if its compatible.

Hi ASTribe! You can generate your own labels by exporting your book and/or patron data from LibraryThing and/or TinyCat (see https://www.librarything.com/more/import for book data and https://www.librarycat.org/admin/patrons for patron data) and running a Mail Merge of sorts.
There's a Talk thread where other members discuss what they've done here for spine labels which would follow a similar process: https://www.librarything.com/topic/97585. I hope this helps.
