btw to all my fellow global reading travelers, the NYTs book review has a new feature :literary destinations. Last week it was on Lisbon I dont have the paper but I know the maisas by jose maria de eca de queiroz was mentioned
This this week Yasmine El Rashidis a native of Cairo, talks books about cairo for arm chair traveling, The list include some familiar books the map of love in the eye of the sun as well as ones Im not familar with false papers, beer in the snooker club the article itself was really interesting. Just a heads up if you can get ahold of the paper. Definitely going to keep up with this feature (yeah, like I need more books...)
