Folio Society - Instagram Poe Illustrations

Hi folks,

If you've been following FS on their Instagram page, you will see they are looking for illustrators for an upcoming Edgar Allan Poe book. Any thoughts on when this might be available (i.e. this year?). I'm relatively new to the FS crowd, but am interested in this project, especially with Halloween around the corner.

I don't think that's correct. They ran a contest for illustrators they haven't published to illustrate a scene from The Mask of Red Death. They've been posting those illustrations. Some of them are terrific. I asked if they were going to be publishing Poe soon. They said no.

Edit- I'd like to see a a FS Poe LE/SE with many illustrations suggested it to them. I'm not holding my breath.

It would be great if they'd reprint their edition of "The Narrative of Arthur Gordon Pym".

I don't think this will happen, but if they publish a letterpress edition I'm all in!
