Minor weird bug with Title sort

I'm working on books that don't yet have the (right) covers in my catalog. In order to get to them in the right order, I searched for the tag "__scanned", then sorted by title. The second and subsequent books are correctly the first few in my file list (of covers)...but above the ones that start with numbers is "Will Shortz's Xtreme Xwords". ????

I tried cutting and pasting the title, I tried retyping it both in the catalog and on the edit page - but it insists that Will comes before numbers or A (I mean to keep working, so I'm not sure what the next book in the list will be when someone gets to look at this). No idea what's going on. It's hardly a major bug as is...but maybe it's something with bigger implications.

For that book, you have its "Sort Character" set to 5, which means it is alphabetising it using the space (the 5th character in the title).

To get it to alphabetise correctly, you would want to change that number to "(start)", or blank it entirely by selecting the empty space at the top of the dropdown.

(When you go to edit your book, it is the number which is in a dropdown box directly to the right of the title)

Edit: to clarify
