Hi all,
I'm trying to put together a list of manga for seven to eight year old children.
(They see their older siblings reading manga, and want to join in.)
So far I have Yotsuba!, Chi's Sweet Home, and Cardcaptor Sakura.
If anyone else can think of titles I'm missing, please let me know!

Some options. I think these would all work for a 7-8 year old.
Dinosaur Hour
Cowa!
Happy Happy Clover
The Big Adventures of Majoko
also, technically it's a manhwa, but One Fine Day looks adorable.

Mine really enjoyed Yo-kai Watch.
You might want to note that (in addition to making friends, considering consequences to actions, and the usual that's in the shounen fantasies meant for older kids) the series is heavy on death and emotional regulation (meaning new characters initially react in negative ways) as themes. There is also body humor, which isn't every seven-year-olds favorite thing.

Sue & Tai-chan is by the same author as Chi's Sweet Home, but I believe it is a separate series.
