I'm not reading, actually. I'm trying to re-read a book I started reading but never finished: House of Leaves Do you know this book?

I am not familiar with that book.

Personally I am in the middle of Secret of the Lost Race by Andre Norton, and it's kind of bugging me that I'm in the middle of it, because it's a short book and I think I should be finished it already, instead of only being a few chapters in. I am still having difficulty focusing since I caught Covid over New Year's, although for the first two months I didn't read at all, really, so this is actually an improvement.

I have also started a book on Chinese Characters, their history and etc. When I am not feeing well enough to write, I tend to watch a lot of Chinese TV dramas. Which led to me being interested in being able to read chinese subtitles. But the more I try learn, the more I think it would be helpful to know more about how the writing system works--I tend to find that sort of thing fascinating anyway.

I may answer some of your other questions later, but I've been off-line for three months (see above comments on Covid) and I really need to get caught up on some things elsewhere.
