From one of the places where you can get the list of your collections, (I suggest from 'Your books') go to the bottom of that list and click on 'Edit collections'.
The Collection Manager will open up. At the top is a link for 'Add new collection'. Give it a name, decide which boxes to tick, and save.
To add a single book to that collection, go to the book page and change collections. Remember, a book can be in several collections.
To add several books at a time, use Power Edit - the lightning icon in Your Books.

Create a collection and then use power edit (the lightning bolt icon). Don't forget to turn off power edit when finished

I don't have either the Edit collections or a lightning bolt icon, just your catalog and add to catalog. Is there a different version of library thing that has more options?

>4 bizabet: Edit collections is on the Add Books tab.
Your lightning bolt is found on the catalog page to the right of the style options, between the up and down arrows icon and the printer icon, top of page.

"Your Catalog" and "Add to Catalog", is it possible you are using the site through TinyCat? (which, yes that is a different version of the LibraryThing website). The items discussed here are in the main website, rather than TinyCat, and the main LT profile can be accessed at: https://www.librarything.com/home
Edit 8th Sep: Or possibly you are using the App version of the site? Sorry I'm not an expert on that but from what I have seen in other discussions, yes the App does function differently than the main website.

Is there a way to move books on my LibraryThing collection to Abe books?
Thanks
Thanks

>7 Sheiladane0217: LibraryThing is a cataloguing site. Abe books is a bookseller. Even if you sent a list of your books from LT to Abe books, they would not access to the books themselves.

MarthaJeanne (#8):
I interpreted the request as being one to catalog books for sale vie AbeBooks (which is an aggregator for sellers, not a store itself) using an LT catalog. Which would be more a question for AbeBooks - can they use the LT export to generate a catalog? I could of course be wrong, but that's the only way I could interpret the question that wasn't entirely nonsensical.
