What Did I Do Wrong? Vampire Inquisitor

I have two books in the Vampire Inquisitor series, which was not marked as a series on the work pages, so I tried to create a series for them. Somehow, and I'm not sure how, I have ended up with two different series with the same name, one for each book. How do I undo this and make one series for the two books?

You (or someone else) created a new series for each of them instead of using the existing series for the second book. Unlike the old system when typing the same name in the Series field in CK put you in the same series based on the name, with the new system typing the name in the create screen will create you a new series - you need to search for the existing series and select it instead.

What you should have done was to create it for one of them, then go to the series page and add the other book from there (if search can find the book) or search and add to the existing series from the second book (if search can find the new series).

There is a delay in when Search sees new objects (both series and titles) so sometimes you need to add one book and then come in a bit later (a few hours usually will do it but sometimes may take a day or so) to add the rest.
