Old style links to personal wiki-pages redirects to librarything.com

Bug or feature?

In "Also on" in my Profile I have a link to

http://www.librarything.com/wiki/index.php/User:bnielsen

that used to go to the top level of my wiki pages.

Now it goes to librarything.com/home

It seems the correct link now is:

https://wiki.librarything.com/index.php/User:Bnielsen

Maybe this is just an old change that I didn't notice until now?

I also seem to remember that there used to be a link to one's wikipage somewhere in the footer on each page? (Ah, Help and FAQ has a left column with My pages where I can find it.)

So I might have two issues here? A rewrite rule that's been changed? And the visibility of personal wiki pages.

Correct, you should update the URL. Ideally, we should be forwarding the old wiki to the new wiki, but that hasn't happened yet. I'll remind the developers/sysadmin that's still an issue to be decided.

As for the 2nd issue, I don't believe this is an issue, correct? You've got the "My pages" section as noted. Let me know if I'm missing anything.

The AlsoOn link is LT provided. I just chose WikiThing and gave the handle bnielsen and then it generates a link, that is now obsolete. That should be fixed.

I can fix it for my own profile by just removing it and writing it as part of the text.

Ah, good catch re: the "Also on" link! Many of those are outdated, I'm sure. I'll keep this open for that, then.

Updated the default Also On link for WikiThing (LT), so this should work now.

EDIT: AHA! Figured it out.

Many links to old Wiki pages for past Take It or Leave It Challenges aren't working. It seems fine until 2017.

Here is an example (I tried as https and removing the "/wiki." THEN! I changed www. to wiki. Bingo!)

http://www.librarything.com/wiki/index.php/Take_It_or_Leave_It_Challenge_-_Decem...

It redirects to:

https://www.librarything.com/home

This lists all applicable wiki pages (Jan - Dec 2010 through 2017):
