Hi! I’ve been looking for this book for what feels like ages, I really hope someone can help!
It’s about two sisters - one who’s kind and lives in the city and the other, a lot more conniving and scores a rich husband (possibly in a country setting). The gold digger sister comes searching for the other twin claiming that her marriage is falling apart and she just needs her sister to hold her place for a bit leading to her sister needing to change her whole look to fool her husband and step-daughter.
The nice sister realizes that the other one is up to no good after a while. The relationship that she thought was otherwise fine, was not.
Eventually the conniving sister happens to die and this one takes her place... a shabby description, I know, but help please!
