Children's Book about Old Woman Babbling Brook

This novel is about an old woman who lives near a babbling brook and then decides to move houses for some reason. She packs up and visits other houses, but there is always something wrong with the house. Finally, she finds the perfect home right over a hill and near a babbling brook, it turns out it is actually her house! So, she moves back in, content! This book was read by mother in the 1980s, so it could be older or around that time period.
