Found: collection of short stories

Hello, I'd like to find a book which is a collection of short stories I've read about 10 to 15 years ago at my grandma's. I don't remember the name (well, I recall it might have been something like "on the other side of the shore" or something similar but when i look for it it only searches religious stuff), neither of the book, nor of the stories, all I remember is plot of two short stories included there: one was of a wife planning and executing murder of his husband, it was connected to a car accident or/and to a poison. Second short story was so good I remember it very well with the plot: it was starting in medias res, about a guy who was trying to escape from a bunch of people that were trying to kill him, it turned out it was part of a competition/reality show where he was a participant and the game was about surviving, being that once he survives the attacks and doesn't die, he will get paid. There were some people helping him, rooting for him, there was TV (?) coverage of it all with multiple participants. If not the whole collection book of these short stories, I'd really love to find at least the latter described short story. Thanks for possible help.

Could it be Sheckley's collection Store of infinity? ISFDB lists the books this particular story has been published in.
