I remember reading a book in 5th or 6th grade, I liked it a lot but I'm sure I overlooked a lot of the book and I'm interested in finding it again. The only problem is I have no clue what the title of the book is, I have looked online to try to find it but so far I've found nothing.
The book is about a girl who has a traumatic event in her life and turns into a hermit, she stops going outside and leaving her house, I think she lives with someone who takes care of their groceries but that part is fuzzy. She gets a therapist to work on her fear of leaving the house again, after some work she becomes more and more comfortable with being able to leave, she's able to leave her house for minutes at a time after months of therapy.
That's all I remember, I'm willing to look at any books that sound remotely close to what this book sounds like. Please help!!
