>1 Bob_Reader: Just looked on my shelf and you're right. But I would say no more than 1-2 millimetres, nowhere near a 1/4 of an inch.

>1 Bob_Reader: I’ve checked mine and it’s possibly very slightly higher. Although the first volume is higher than the 2nd as well. No more than few millimetres between all of them though, and barely noticeable. The sag in the middle of my bookshelf is probably more of a cause in the different heights.

>8 Bob_Reader: imo you should post a picture of your set to see if there’s really a problem according to the other members. People are usually pretty fair in this regard from what I’ve seen.

>8 Bob_Reader: If you're a member of the Facebook group, if you scroll through the many pictures of shelfies I suspect you will find at least one or two that include the Hornblower sets that you can use as a point of comparison. I feel like I saw a post of just the Hornblower sets in the last few days.

>8 Bob_Reader: surely it would be faster to post your own first

I doubt I would ask for a replacement or send an email and I agree that you should post your picture here first. I’d be interested in seeing the issue.

I’ve tried to follow the instructions but it doesn’t seem to be working, so here’s the link if you want to view my photo on postimage.org

***Edit : Sorry, I thought it was Bob_Reader who shared his photo. Nevermind that then.

It looks like a difference of a few millimeters. I wouldn't complain because of that.
