Beautiful book and pictures. I have the Greek paperback editions of "His Dark Materials" and they have those illustrations in color on the covers.

>1 wcarter: Gorgeous, thank you. I wasn't expecting to find any copies remaining but there are some, and still good value at 'pre-publication' price. Just ordered.

That's gorgeous and a great concept to boot. I'll have to be content with my Endgrain Editions from Barbarian but I would love to have this beautiful book. So many great engravers. I love getting inside of an artist's process and method and influences. I recently attended a Zoom Presentation by Vladimir Zimakov on his process in creating an artist's book on a Lewis Carroll poem. It was fascinating to learn about. (I believe he will be posting a recording of it soon, if it is not out there already)

I just received this book and it's absolutely glorious. I can't endorse it strongly enough.
I'm just incredibly frustrated that I missed out on Coastline when I could have ordered it at the same time.
Edit: for those on the fence, I have a post about the book on my blog that will hopefully push you over the edge, https://wordpress.com/post/ubiquitousbooks.wordpress.com/2856

>7 ubiquitousuk: You are welcome! I hope you were able to acquire a copy. It is a wonderful book and a great deal at that price.

>8 vadim_ca: Yes, Pat Randle confirmed copies (with an s!) were available and I have asked him to post one over to me.
Edit: it arrived, and is every bit as wonderful as hoped. Many thanks once again!
