Hi all, first of all sorry if this is not the right place, or if this has been previously discussed, but I did not find answers after deep search.
Here my question: There are many "authors" whose name is actually the combinations of two or more authors. It would seem that users did not use the different fields to store all the authors of a book, but put them altogether in first author field when uploading information, e.g:
https://www.librarything.com/author/avperyshkinnarodina
Is there a way to fix this and separate these multi-author names? Please note that it is not that there are several authors with same name, but a name with several authors :)
Thanks a lot and best regards.

Nope. If a user used them this way, we cannot change that. We can combine the books so they go where they belong (when possible) but the author records are here to stay.
What can be done is to add the actual authors as other authors. But the book of the user who added this book will still lead to this author page.

You can also change the primary author. This is one of the very few cases where that is appropriate.
