I got distracted, and dove into the archives at Washington University. It has at least this many book collections. I think Mary Wickes, a character actor, and the "Catalog of St. Louis Police Library" sound the most interesting.

Mary Wickes Papers, 1908-1996 | WUA University Archives
http://archon.wulib.wustl.edu/index.php?p=collections/findingaid&id=205&...
Wikipedia: "Mary Wickes (born Mary Isabella Wickenhauser; June 13, 1910 – October 22, 1995) was an American film and television actress. She often played supporting roles as prim, professional women, secretaries, nurses, nuns, and housekeepers, who made sarcastic quips when the leading characters fell short of her high standards."
"Series 11: Personal Library
The Personal Library includes book featuring Wickes, signed by or to Wickes, books from her grade school, high school, and college, stage copies, and other books."
Includes a link to 174 items in the OPAC.
Tim: I'm thinking she'd be a good actor library. Not a big star, which is cool in a way.

Any that are cataloged we should try to bring in via MARC import, if possible.

Yeah, agreed. I suppose we ask them?

But I want the police library.

Ha. I can't get excited about that one, but go for it if you want.
