Planning to separate Legion: Lies of the Beholder by Brandon Sanderson

Just thought I'd double-check before my first separation.

Legion the series is comprised of three novellas:
- Legion
- Legion: Skin Deep
- Legion: Lies of the Beholder.

There are (at least) two omnibuses:
- Legion: The Many Lives of Stephen Leeds (1 - 3)
- Legion and The Emperor's Soul (1 + unrelated novella)

When I added the third it said "There is another version of this work in Your books;", which I assumed was the omnibus. When I click on the first it takes me to the third.

When I look at Combine/Separate, I see Legion (1) includes:
- Legion: Lies of the Beholder / Brandon Sanderson (separate)
- Legion: Lies of the Beholder: The Concluding Legion Novella / Brandon Sanderson (separate)
- Legion: The Many Lives of Stephen Leeds / Brandon Sanderson / (ISBN 1250297826) (separate)

As well as many other issues in all related works.

So, I think separating is the way to go. Questions are:
1. Should I fix all the incorrect combinations I see or only the one effecting me?
2. Does disambiguation apply here?

Cheers.

>1 GuyMontag: As well as many other issues in all related works.

Ignore these (if you mean the list of links at the bottom of the editions page) - they are based on ISBNs and so on and will very often be ratty :)

Yes, pull "Legion: The Many Lives of Stephen Leeds" out and anything else that does not belong. The autocombine check stops at the ":" so until these are pulled out, it will autocombine them here. Once their ISBNs are out, next copies will follow the ISBNs :) If you leave other copies here, it will get ratty again. So if you are up to it, go ahead and fix it. If you are not sure or need help, post back :)

"2. Does disambiguation apply here? "

Sure. Never a bad idea to add one when there is a possibility for a confusion.

After you've done your separations, add a work-to-work relationship (contained in/is contained in) with the omnibuses for each novella. That will prevent auto-combining in the future.
