Forgotten title. Or author since so long ago.
Book about a child abused by mother until one day kills her and is found by postman cooking her.
After hospitalised in sanitarium, for years, escapes and ends up going on a women killing spree culminating in disguising himself as a woman to lodge in a women s hotel, and continue his spree there.
Any ideas? Apparently based on a true story. Read it some 40 years ago
