Thanks for the photos and congratulations for your purchase. I missed this version but I'm happy I got the standard blue edition.

The pictures aren't showing up for me, don't know if others are having problems viewing them?

I have checked and can see the pictures on Mac and Windows desktop, iPad and iPhone.
These are very high definition photos and so may take time to load, or loading may depend on internet access speed (particularly at peak times) or computer memory. The server is in the USA and I am in Australia, so distance is not a factor.
Some tech guru may be able to better explain why some people are having trouble seeing the pics.

>8 wcarter: it shows up now, it did not earlier. Strange, the ways of the internet...
Lovely book eh! My only complaint is regarding the slipcase - I don't think the color matches the book nor do I like having the leather strip on the top of the slipcase rather the spine, but those are minor issues. The book itself is simply beautiful.
By the way, what did use (program/technique) to remove the background in the pics?

Photos are all taken on a white table top in natural light using an iPhone8 (oldie but goodie), then modified as necessary in Photoshop and uploaded for storage on Postimage.com

>8 wcarter: probably just a brief server hiccup or temporary host name resolution issue. I’m unfamiliar with postimage.cc but that’s the most likely issue.

Beautiful edition of a fun & touching story from an author I grew up reading avidly. Getting new Charles Vess artwork to illustrate is a bonus, though my favorite illustration is still probably the full page painting of the tree & Pan from the original DC edition. It's been a few years since I read this, and I'm looking forward to revisiting this title, with this excellent version.

Just finished reading my leather copy. What a joy to reread this delightful story in such an elegant edition.

I'm not affiliated with the seller, but I note that a leather edition of this is now selling for $5000 on Ebay.
I feel that's a bit ambitious, but I also imagine somebody is going to pay it, so maybe not.

>15 -Ophidian-: I'm not affiliated with the seller nor know anything about them, but I would not be surprised if it sells.

What I'm really intrigued about is seeing/knowing what a lettered edition would sell for.
I don't think that price for the leather edition is that outrageous, especially if Lyra's Press announces a subsequent, popular book, with first choice going to owners of their first book. It's also $5k or Best Offer, so I imagine the seller is shooting for the moon, but would settle for something less than that.

It looks like the Leather edition is a BBDPA finalist for ‘Best British Book’: https://www.instagram.com/p/CTwrnUbI_ip/?utm_medium=copy_link
