The recent documentary 'The Booksellers' was a really entertaining piece of work. I figured I'd surface the upcoming documentary 'The Book Makers' here, along with another recent movie covering letterpress printing that I've not seen noted here.

http://www.letterpressfilm.com/ - This seemed to be focused on printers & type casters in the Midwest US area generally. One of the really fascinating bits was a type caster who had integrated his monotype caster with a Mac. Looking into this a little more, I've seen on youtube that a few type foundries have done this - but still totally fascinating to see these old machines integrated with modern technology. Not highly technical, but absolutely worth a watch.

^ Thank you. The Booksellers was ok (even if only to learn there are human leather books..).

I guess the first one is not out yet? I snatched the Letterpress Film - I'll try and watch tonight.

Thank you so much for for posting the link to this excellent film. I see why artist books can be so expensive. Book artists need to be patronised so that they can keep producing these wonderful artworks.
