has anyone here had pocky?

Yes, of course. A thin, dry cracker-stick about the size of a straw, with one end dipped in chocolate. You can find it these days in oriental food shops. Stick with the traditional chocolate, not the new ones in Hello Kitty! pink.

Oh yes. I love Pocky. They sell it at Suncoast, I suppose it's good with movies...

Yup. I think it's pretty widely available now, a lot of supermarkets carry it in their cracker/cookie section. I've seen a few similar snacks by American companies as well.

Fran's tiramisu mousse is better than any flavor of pocky.

Yep! It's good! The chocolate is WAY better than the strawberry in my opinion. But it's good too. The carry it at Fred Meyer's now. And other stores.

Chocolate Pocky Is So Better! I

Dude, people, pocky comes in like 400 flavors, not just chocolate and strawberry. Sheesh. My favorite pocky flavor (as opposed to Fran) is either green tea or the specialty winter flavor that is chocolate dipped in bittersweet cocoa powder.

Pocky is great in all its flavors! Could use one right now.

Just because Pocky comes in many flavors doesn't mean that all those flavors are available for everyone, dude.

Oh ok! Now I know what is POCKY. Yeah we eat it all the time but we dont call it POCKY. We call it STICK WITH CHOCOLATE.

Too bad librarything doesn't allow you to paste pictures in the messages. I took a snapshot of Pocky advertisements in a Tokyo subway car. One can become addicted to the product!

rl203, yes you can. Someone told me how but I forgot.

I'm sure there's a way cuz I saw others post book covers.

Maybe you can use HTML? I haven't tried, though.

Personally, I like "Melty Kiss" chocolate waaaaaaay better than Pocky =P

Hotel Chocolate has the best chocolate. Unfortunately I finished all of it and now I'm out of chocolate *cries*

I heart Pocky. Especially when it has Hello Kitty on the package.

How about this:

This is how it's done:

Put a pointer to an image reference, in the following format, inside carets.

img src="http://www.example.com/image.jpg"

If I had put an after, it would have attempted to display the referenced image.

Hope this helps.

I absolutely LOVE Pocky! It is so delicious! I don't really enjoy eating the strawberry ones but if it's chocolate, it's mine! I love the taste and how the chocolate sort of melts in your mouth. YUM! It really is the super snack.

In France and Belgium they renamed them: they are called Mikado (like the sticks' game). Dark, milk, white chocolate... Hmmmm

I've never heard of the game.

Mikado is one of a number of titles of the emperor of Japan, orgininally a referece to the gate to the imperial palace.

And in the west, it's a title of a famous Gilbert and Sullivan comic opera that takes place in, of all places, Japan.

Pocky is too thin and small. Like 2 chunks and one stick is gone already. I like Pocky too but there should be more in a pack so it lasts longer. :D

Super-sized portions (aka "enough") would make it an American product.

Well, you can use Pocky to play mikado :)

I guess you could, but sufficient quantitates aside, you're sure to lose all the game-pieces in relatively short order!

Yep. It's lovely. They even have different kinds....chocolate with nuts, dessert pocky with richer chocolate....

I like pocky. You can buy in some Dominicks, but you can order it on-line via Jbox at:
