Hey June, don't let me down. Pick a sad book and make it better!

I'm back to my usual reading this month. I've got Harley Quinn: Breaking Glass and a few more volumes of Astro City.

I discovered Chabouté. Alone and To Build a Fire both portray solitude with few words and a stark visual style.

Chabouté is great and Alone is an excellent book. I would like to recommend Chabouté's Moby Dick and Le Rapport de Brodeck by Manu Larcenet which also has a strong, thrilling B&W art and can sit easily besides Maus in any shelf.

I actually read most of Brodeck a couple of years ago but drifted off! Scary stuff. Should finish that second volume.

Finished Harley Quinn Breaking Glass by Mariko Tamaki. Really enjoyed this, great art, and a teenage Harley takes on the gentrification of Gotham.

I've just finished and enjoyed Banned Book Club by Kim Hyun Sook.
