I noticed that on tag pages, to move from one page to another, it says "prevnext" rather than "prev next".
While the links work, it looks odd.

There are buttons that look fine on my Chrome browser, no spacing needed.
What device/browser are you on? This is probably a quirk that needs fixing.

I see it on my iPad (Safari).

I'll take a look.

I was on my desktop - macOS Sierra 10.12.6, using Firefox 76.0.1
ETA: this seems to be a new issue. I’ve never noticed it before, and I’m on those pages often enough that I’m sure I would have.

Another data point (or two): iMac, MacOS Catalina 10.15.4, Safari 13.1 gives "prev | next"; same machine, Firefox 76.0.1 gives the same.
And a couple more: iPad, Safari and Firefox both include the bar and spaces.

I just checked on Safari 12.1.2 - same problem.
I also noticed that in cover or shelf view (using either browser), there's no "prev" option, just page #s and "next". Nothing wrong with that, but it's an odd inconsistency.

Yep. This is just some new design stuff getting out without the accompanying styling to go with it. It'll be cleaned up today when we do another code push.

>7 lilithcat: We're also tweaking the design of the little shelf control bar to not include 'prev' or 'next' if there's no need, as well as a couple of other minor modifications.
The shelf itself is going through a major update but still won't be in its final form for LT2 yet. But the changes mean that shelves will now flow to a second line if they need them and won't break pages and cause the right side of the page to spill over and cause horizontal scrolling.
The plan is to do a complete overhaul of the shelf code for LT2 so this is just a temporary middle-ground to fix a few layout issues on the way to LT2.
