Hi, coming from Libib I like that the fields Begun and Completed Date belong to each book entry.
I know in LibraryThing you can add your book to the Completed collection, but there is no date...
Is there somehow a field in LibraryThing for Begun and Completed Date?

Yes. Go into the edit book page. Or you can add those fields to a catalog style and edit them there.

On LibraryThing, those fields are titled "started" and "finished"

norabelle414 MarthaJeanne you people are fantastic! Thank you!
Only problem is these dates can't be set in a bulk import via CSV file or similar - or can they?

I'm fairly certain my Goodreads import set read dates with the editions that had any. You might need to ensure the columns in your spreadsheet say "started" and "finished" instead of "begun" and "completed" to make the transfer.

The sample file includes 'date read'.
