Ted's Reading for 2020

No. 1 of 2020. I started the year's reading with a great book-a memoir by an outstanding Canadian, Chris Hadfield. His book is An Astronaut's Guide to Life on Earth and I loved it. Returning it to the library today but think I have to buy a copy for myself to re-read in times when I despair for the future of the human race.

Another resolution is to keep up in 2020 with all my friends on LT. Happy New Year!

This book, just finished this morning, has definitely slowed down my reading pace. Very dense, hard slogging but very good. No. 2 read: Milkman by Anna Burns.

52. Last book of the year for me: Becoming Michelle Obama by Michelle Obama of course. Quite enjoyed it.

Far fewer books finished this year than previous years- due both to Covid starting in March and as I was a health care worker then, that involved lots and lots of overtime and I was too exhausted to read much. Then I retired in October, and started reading a lot again, and then...brought home an 8 week old puppy in November, and scarcely have free time to even have a shower, let alone read!
