Library statistics says I have 5 instances of "Unassigned, unofficial or deprecated language code (Eng)". When I click to view which works aren't coded correctly, the page opens to 40 out of 953 listings of Your library. Additionally strange is that my collection of "Your library" contains 1,027 books. I have no idea what is and isn't populating on that page. The filter in the header is "Language > Unknown (Eng)".
This appears related to "Deprecated language in PowerEdit" (with its explanation within "Power language failure" of why it happens) but is a different problem. I can't fix whatever mistake I made in setting languages that generated the unknown English code.

Update: My language statistics say there are now 16 "Unassigned, unofficial or deprecated language code (Eng)" entries. Clicking on the link still takes me to a page of 40 books, of 1561.
The links at the top:
Language > Unknown (Eng)Others in the catalog: English (1549), Spanish (19), (12), French (12), Korean (9), Japanese (5), Chinese (4), All languages (1), English (Middle) (1), Italian (1), Remove language choice

I'm checking in a year later to confirm this as unresolved.
My number of" Unassigned, unofficial or deprecated language code (Eng)" works is currently 10. Clicking on the link continues to take me to my catalogue without ten works separated out.

Looks as though those 10 books are set to “Eng” instead of “eng”, but the search isn’t case-sensitive so you can’t isolate them in the catalogue.
Most of the time language weirdness can be fixed simply by editing and saving the book, but that obviously depends on you being able to find it first!

Update: I have 13 "Unassigned, unofficial or deprecated language code (Eng)" instances with no way of identifying which are the badly assigned works.

We're completely re-releasing stats soon.

Closing, as I'm not seeing further issues, but please let me know if this is still an issue for anyone.

The Charts & Graphs section has replaced the old Stats, but this problem is ongoing. The only charge to the problem I see is that the "unassigned" search link is now labeled "All" under the Languages in Charts.
