What are you reading this month?
I just finished Middlewest Book One by Skottie Young. I had read a couple of reviews praising it. It is a well-told story about anger and its effects; I just wish the character portrayals were a bit less cartoon-y. But that was a style choice, as I think this is mainly targeted to teens or younger. The rest of the art was fine by me.

This month, my comics book club is reading Tank Girl: Two Girls One Tank. After that, I have Logicomix and Isola, Volume 1 out from the library.

I've made a resolution to spend September reading through the pile of random single issues of things I picked up just to see if they were any good, and then haven't read.
So far the two that I decided were worth finding more of are Angel City and Blackbird.
Not interesting enough to keep going (but not truly awful enough to keep either): Atlas & Axis, Ab Irato, Centipede. (I am going in alphabetical order, more or less.)
Isola and Middlewest are both farther down my to-read list!

>5 Tribe_XX: I liked the first two Monstress books; the third one is scheduled to come out soon, I'm pretty sure.

I can't be trusted to return books to the library without checking out new ones. Just came home with Solanin, Belzebubs, and Jamilti & Other Stories. Meanwhile, all the books I've actually purchased this year are sitting neglected ...
>5 Tribe_XX: >6 jnwelch: Monstress Vol. 4 comes out in October. I found the first volume a little frustrating with the set-up, but am definitely glad I stuck with the series.

Monstress Book One includes the first 18 issues. Not certain where that falls with the trade collection volumes.

>8 Tribe_XX: The trade volumes each contain six issues, so Book One would take you to the end of Volume 3.
