August ER Books

Has anyone received or read anything about the notifications going out to the winners of August’s Early Review books??

Hopefully tonight? I hope to get an email tomorrow. I didn't win last month for a change so hope to win.

There seems to have been some anti-robot upgrades today, that might have diverted attention from ER for awhile. Fingers crossed for tonight.

Haven't won in 2 months now. LOL but did win a Member giveaway.

I struck out this month, but I can't complain its the first time in several months that I didn't have a win.

I also didn't win. It looks like more people are entering the giveaways. (Maybe because of Litsy.)

Makes sense. I'm mostly annoyed because the books that happened to be up were ones I wanted and now I can't afford to be buying new books at the moment so it was a good opportunity. ;).

I'm mostly hoping that the one review I haven't done yet isn't hurting my odds. It's for a book that I've yet to receive from March and so far no news.

I didn't win either which is weird. Very weird. Not that I have no books, but it's still strange.

Because I haven’t missed a request since 2017 and that was after a couple years as well.

Did anyone see me claiming harm or foul? I just said it was very strange. More so considering that I own and read the writer in question. Just surprising.

Not I, I was merely curious.

I don't think it is particularly unusual not to have a request fulfilled even when one owns books by the author, or similar books. It's happened to me more than once.

I'm sure it depends in part on how many people request the book and what their shelves look like!

I usually win something, this month for example I won the one book I asked. It is however true that since I live in Italy I can usually only choose among ebooks, which probably have more available copies than paper ones, and sometimes I don't enter the giveaway.
My present concern is that the last two books I won (from June and July) were not sent yet.

It's the same for me, tealadytoo and Bookmarque; I'm fortunate to win most months, so when I don't win, it stands out. Very happy to get whatever I do, though, and I love that LT offers ARCs.

I got The Dictionary of Animal Languages too, looking forward to it!

Never received my copy of "The Beatles from A to Zed by Peter Asher from the August 2019 batch." Did anyone else get theirs ? ~ Tim
