Tiny Cat Custom status--won't delete

I used a few custom statuses but now have a list of custom inactive statuses that I would like to delete. When my volunteers and I need to change a status, the list of choices that pops up includes the inactive statuses that I do not want used and it's confusing to some.

I went to Tiny Cat Admin--Transactions--Statuses and see my list of active and inactive custom statuses. There is a little "X" next to the inactive statuses and when I check it, a message pops up, "Delete this status?" I click "OK" but nothing happens. The statuses remain the same. Can you help? Thanks so much!

It sounds like you’re attempting to delete the name of a custom status you created, a status you’re no longer using. By deleting items from the Trasnactions list, you’re not deleting the status label—you’re deleting that particular transaction status (so that instance of a checkout, hold, etc.), rather than the label itself. There is currently no way to delete custom statuses at the moment, though we do plan to add that in the future.

Alas, not yet: you can edit them but not completely delete them. If you need help with deleting a custom lending status from your library, shoot me a message or an email at kristi @ librarything . com
