Has Robert Silverberg written anything about Harlan Ellison since his death? He apparently reminisced about HE at a recent convention but I haven't come across a formal obituary by him yet. He's written many obits for SFF authors over the years, and was pretty close to HE at one point, so it would be odd if RS didn't commemorate his old pal and rival in print.

Afaik Silverberg is still writing a regular column for Asimov's Magazine but I'm not sure he uses it for obits.

Not a formal obituary, but there is a short piece in the August 2018 issue of Locus by Silverberg on Ellison (more a reaction/rememberance piece than a true obit).

Thanks! I'll check that out.

Just got the Kindle version. All the appreciations are great, but RS sums up HE the best:

"He was fearless, and he was outrageous. He could be very good company, and wonderfully entertaining when he wasn't angry. But he was usually angry."

>4 SnootyBaronet: I like how they are all pretty honest (or seem to be).
