Hello, I purchased a used Centipede press Sales Lot edition like new condition, but the pages are very wavy, and it arrived from Florida to Maryland. Please see Pics
Is this normal will the pages eventually acclimate?
I paid a handsome sum for the book and want to make sure I did not make a mistake.

I'd like to say sure, they'll be great if you stick them in a closed container with a lot of rice in it, but it is unlikely you'll be satisfied with the results.

I don't know what kind of paper it is, so, maybe what you have could be a permanent condition.

On the other hand, if you have a book press (I have two.), you might get lucky with the employment of dehumidification plus pressure for several weeks. It's still iffy.

I'd hope for acclimatization. Those pictures look like it's not a defect but well within the expected range of how a book can look depending on changes in humidity. For sure, many new books I buy look like that.
