A terrific finding, and the earliest AMH out of Africa. But not, I think, surprising that there were AMHs walking out of Africa. We already have evidence of later exoduses that didn’t “take”. The major departure of ~60K BP seems the one that brought our genome out of Arrica. Although, I there are some earlier events (100-120K BP iirc) that arguably may have made a contribution. Are earlier habitations that didn’t lead any further really unexpected? I don’t think so. Still, a wonderful contribution to our knowledge about early Homo sapiens.
