Looking for an erotic fiction historical novel read in the 1980s

I am having trouble finding a book that I read in the late 80's/early 90's but the publishing date was probably earlier than that as I found it in a pile of books in a rented caravan at the time. Unfortunately I cannot remember the title or author or the majority of the story. I am sure it would be classed as historical erotic fiction with BDSM and non consent themes. I am also sure it started on a ship before moving to a rich household later in the book and the hero presumably rescues her in the end but I cant remember that bit, I am sure he was not part holding her against her will as he was a prisoner as well.
Snippets of the story I can remember: The cover picture was your man and woman looking busty on the front cover, from what I recall at the beginning of the book I think she is captive on a ship and he is also captive in another cell. She gets touched up a bit pressed against the bars. Another bit later is that she is in a posh house held against her will, she gets shaved and given to someone and has to wait in their room naked and tied to the wall by a collar on her neck. The last bit I remember is that she gets greased up and runs a gauntlet through people trying to touch her up.
I know I could probably put it better but I am reader not a writer, I will leave that to the professionals ;)
