We had a request for a title for a YA book from the 90s and we're drawing a blank on what it could be. I know there weren't too many YA books out at the time. My first guess was Christopher Pike, but none of the book covers I found matched the description.
Thanks!
It's a book I know I read in the 90s, and it had one of those old school
paperback size but hard cover books (no book flap). And it had the setting
of a beach-y type of setting, kind of dark book I thought for YA looking
back. It was part of a series, I believe. I think on the cover it had the
distant view of a lighthouse maybe and I think it was about some mystery on
the island. The main characters were siblings, I believe. The siblings were
on the cover but they were distant as well and not clearly shaped. It's not
the traditional book series I recall from that time like Boxcar Kids or
Nancy Drew or Hardy Boys for sure.
Thanks!

>4 pickupf: maybe Five on a Treasure Island or Five on Kirrin Island Again. There are many covers - I seem to remember a "Five on Kirrin island", but that may be a mixture of these two
