reading group?

Would anyone be interested in a philosophy reading group? (If this is not an appropriate place to post, I can start a new group.) I have just started reading Truth, A Guide by Simon Blackburn, and I would be interested in discussing it as I read. Any philosophy text is better understood, I think, if there is discussion to help with the meaning and implication.

I would be up for this. In any case in this groups there will always be people to have read the book who can discuss it with you as you go along.

Moral Clarity: A Guide for Grown-up Idealists
The Consolation of Philosophy, Boethius
Meditations, Marcus Aurelius

Glad someone else is interested; I wonder what the best way to approach this is. I've most recently read the Outlines of Scepticism by Sextus Empiricus and the Philosophical Investigations by Ludwig Wittgenstein. The latter has dramatically shifted (or at least opened up) the way that I see philosophy. I'm currently reading Being and Time by Heidegger, which has also been very revolutionary for me. I actually started it last July, but I decided to put it in stasis during the fall semester to leave room for my schoolwork and now I'm reopening its dense pages with a watering mouth XD

Truth is my first real philosophy book.

I strongly support a philosophy reading/book discussion group, because it could encourage and facilitate our progress in understanding key principles and personalities.
My suggestion is for interested members to open a new thread right in this group for any book you'd like to discuss, and add some of your comments, questions, etc in the hope people will respond. See my next post-I'll open a new thread for William James' Essays in Pragmatism which I recently finished and submit as a topic for reading/discussion.
I think it's very hard to find many people simultaneously reading good nonfiction, except perhaps a new publication. Not like popular fiction reader swarms. But let's not be discouraged by low turnout. And let's ask for comments, both favorable and negative, even from people relying on distant past memories.
