The amusing thing about it is that the Equal Access Act was passed at the behest of Christian organizations that wanted Bible study groups to be able to meet in schools.

The result? Schools had to allow, among others, LGBT groups, gay-straight alliances, and religious groups other than Christian.

A lot of stuff has elevated itself to that of "religion" in modern times. It makes me sad, but humans mostly love this stuff.
